In celebration of its 30th year, Kuysen opens a stellar multi-function building in Jupiter Avenue, Makati.
A few weeks ago, the Grupo Santamaria design team was invited to visit the newly opened Kuysen Experience Center located just a few blocks away from our office at LRI Design Plaza. We were thrilled to be the first interior design firm to see this exciting new showroom housing all of the excellent brands that the company carries. Thank you to Brian and Reggie (shown here standing) from Kuysen who helped arrange this showroom tour for us.
In the celebration of its 30th year in the industry, Kuysen Enterprise, Inc., with its president and general manager Jensen Go, recently opened its Design and Experience Center—a five-storey building and showroom designed by architect Ed Calma. The structure with its curvilinear facade houses all of the luxury home furniture and fixture brands distributed by Kuysen under one immersive and interactive environment.

The floors are named according to the items that are featured in it. The ground floor is called LuxeLiving and houses the luxury brands Porro, Living Divani, and Poggenpohl. Meanwhile, the second floor, called Bespoke, celebrates creative expression such as Baxter, Ceccotti, Paola Lenti, Vibia, and Gan.
Higher up on the 3rd floor is a place called Design Curio, where designs are a bit eccentric and are considered by design enthusiasts to be “future antiques”. Iconic pieces such as Zanotta, Driade, SAba, Desalto, Muuto, Montana and Pedrali are on display not just to be admired but also tried (read: touched, sat on, felt, tested, and totally appreciated!). We enjoyed going around freely and sitting on the chairs and learning about the history of these museum-worthy pieces. Grupo designers Ana, Jessie, and Stella excitedly check out the range of material and color choices at the Kuysen showroom. They have a wide range of durable materials and quality finishes to choose from. This was everyone’s favorite piece in the showroom. THIS. TABLE. BY. BAXTER. We checked it inside out, it is so unbelievably well-made and designed. Just crazy beautiful! We drooled all over this piece. #truthThe next floor is called Collective and showcases kitchen and bathroom lifestyle products. Most famously from award-winning brands such as Hansgrohe, Duravit, Axor, Kaldewei, Keuco, Victoria Albert, Kessel, Tekka, and the like. the floor is notable equipped with Poggenpohl working kitchens furnished with sleek finishes and installed with even sleeker appliances. Lastly, we checked out the delightful and invigorating roof deck, called the Atmosphere floor. It is where the very colorful pieces of designers such as Paolo Lenti are displayed using fun and comfy shapes. What we were most impressed about were the technologically-advanced fabric and materials used to make these items weather-proof. They are literally exposed to sun and rain 24 hours a day! Here with the Grupo Santamaria team all smiles at the sunny roof deck (L to R): Cess, Lenee, Jessie, Stella, Ana, Denise, and yours truly). We are so pleased that Kuysen has decided to build a multi-functional showroom in the heart of Makati, with products and services that make designing easy, fun, and enriching both for the designer and client.
It’s not just an impressive showcase of their excellent products, it’s also a place that is inspiring, comfortable and welcoming for us whenever we visit to source for our different projects.
Congratulations on your 30th year, Kuysen, and the opening of the Kuysen Experience Center!
