A careful curation of heirloom pieces and modern furniture in a Rockwell 2-bedroom.
A couple with Filipino-Chinese roots was based abroad for many years and have decided to make a cozy home for themselves in a premium high-rise in Manila. The spaces were subtly imbued with the owners’ identity, preferences, and sensibilities by the use of select family heirloom pieces, furniture, and art. The primary bedroom, featuring separate desks for the couple, took its color palette from a painting of eight horses hung on the wall. The second bedroom was designed with the comfort of an elderly relative and her nurses in mind. Restrained and careful curation is key.
